Multi-Disciplinary Artist
I'm Unyime Etuk, a self-taught Nigerian visual artist. My work is deeply personal, shaped by identity, history, and the emotions we often keep hidden. I paint to express what words sometimes cannot, especially the quiet strength and layered experiences of Black lives.
For me, art is more than expression. It is a way of remembering, questioning, and connecting. Through each portrait, I try to create a space where silence can speak and long-overlooked stories can be seen.
